The Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a consortium and collaboration facility that brings together leaders and thinkers from across the water sector, coverage world and beyond, has formally opened in Washington, DC, USA.
Water sector leaders, including academia, expertise suppliers, trade associations and NGOs, are partnering in the new consortium to speed up solutions to the world’s critical water and sustainability challenges.
Located on the banks of the Anacostia River, the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions will serve as a world collaboration hub to advance breakthrough water options and innovations.
The Reservoir Center is designed to strengthen collaboration among the many diverse set of stakeholders, from DC and beyond, who work together towards solving global water challenges. The Center’s 33 companions – including Reservoir sponsor Xylem – will deliver together their resources, knowledge and partnerships to drive progress.
Through innovation programs, schooling and mentoring, and neighborhood outreach, the Reservoir Center goals to create a vibrant hub for ideas and motion on challenges like water shortage, resilience and water affordability.

Xylem announced earlier this year that its new headquarters shall be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions.
