Sulzer has to briefly droop the actions of its two legal entities in Poland – Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland – because of sanctions levied by the Polish government on its Russian minority shareholder Viktor Vekselberg.

The company says it’s going to proceed to do everything in its energy to petition for a removing from the sanctions listing, whereas fully complying with the sanctions at present levied towards Sulzer Pumps Wastewater Poland and Sulzer Turbo Services Poland.
Sulzer has 192 workers in Poland and the group is continuing to provide support to the households impacted by the local Polish sanctions.
If the suspension were to last, the potential influence on Sulzer’s gross sales is restricted to CHF21 million, which represents 0.6% of the group’s total gross sales in 2021.
Sulzer just isn’t sanctioned in some other country or authorized entity.
