เกจวัดแรงดันน้ำดิจิตอล Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to produce fuel pump methods for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps might be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It is also the second LNG gas pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has positioned with Svanehøj in the last year. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to provide deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that gross sales might enhance even additional in 2022.
“Until a few years ago, the usage of LNG as a marine fuel was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp increase in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and automobile carriers,” said Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen because the provider of gas pump techniques for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to increase our market share additional within the coming years.”
