Trillium Flow Technologies is shopping for Termomeccanica Pompe SpA, the Italian engineered pump manufacturing company that serves the facility, desalination, water transmission and oil and gasoline markets.
The two firms have signed a joint agreement that can deliver the Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands together underneath the Trillium umbrella in Italy.
When the deal closes, La Spezia-based Termomeccanica will concentrate on creating the ecological and gas compression sectors, where its subsidiaries TME and TMIC function.
Trillium, a portfolio company of world non-public fairness investment agency First Reserve, is the previous Weir Flow Control business. The firm is a global designer, producer and aftermarket companies provider of engineered valves and pumps used within the water and wastewater, global power era, oil and gasoline, mining, and common process industries.
Trillium says that Termomeccanica Pompe’s products and services combined with its Gabbioneta, Floway, WEMCO, WSP and Roto-Jet Pump choices uniquely position the corporate to supply clients with an intensive range of complementary pump products, related engineering help, and aftermarket providers.
