Amarinth has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a model new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which are 18m in length and the other four are methanol lift pumps that are 10m lengthy.

The pump delivery and set up had to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the length of the pumps, they had to be installed into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than one other deck above the pumps could be built. The FPSO shall be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 area, approximately 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India.
