Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales supervisor for North and Latin America, specializing in the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new role, Smith will strengthen customer going through initiatives and work with Sundyne’s inside teams to expand across the C&I area.
Smith comes to Sundyne with greater than 30 years of experience in selling extremely engineered tools and service options to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has worked extensively with EPCs, OEMs and finish users in the renewable energy, oil & gasoline, petrochemical, chemical and energy generation markets.
Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice chairman of sales for Fluid Sealing International, the place he developed strategies to strengthen & develop distributor sales, while also overseeing coaching and applications support. He beforehand served as a regional gross sales supervisor for EKATO Systems. Smith began his profession at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has additionally worked with midstream oil & fuel OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.
