Svanehøj quadrupled sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are numerous indications that sales could enhance even further in 2022.
“Until a few years in the past, using LNG as a marine gasoline was restricted to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we are now seeing a sharp improve in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen as the supplier of gas pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we aim to increase our market share additional within the coming years.”
